Go to Betika

How to cash out in Betika depends on what you mean. If you want your winnings on M-Pesa, open Withdraw in your account, enter the amount and confirm, and the money goes to your registered Safaricom line. If you mean settling an open bet early before the final whistle, look for a cash out button on that bet in My Bets; it only appears on bets and markets where Betika offers it. This guide covers both, starting with how to place a bet in the first place.

Placing a bet on Betika in five steps

  1. Log in and top up through M-Pesa. Our Betika paybill page has the exact deposit steps.
  2. Choose a match from the football list or from today's games.
  3. Tap the odds for your pick, for example the home win or "over 2.5". It is added to the bet slip.
  4. Add more selections for a multibet, or keep one for a single bet.
  5. Enter the stake in KES, check the possible win shown on the slip, and tap Place Bet.

The possible win on the slip already reflects odds multiplied together. Withholding tax is deducted from winnings at settlement, so the paid amount can be lower.

Early cash out on an open bet

Early cash out lets you take a settled amount before all your selections finish. It is useful when a multibet has most legs won and the last match feels risky.

  • Open My Bets and choose the open bet.
  • If a cash out value is shown, it is the amount Betika will pay now. It is usually less than the full possible win.
  • Tap cash out and confirm. The value can change or disappear during live play, for example after a goal.

If no button appears, that bet or market is not eligible at the moment. Some bonus bets and jackpot entries cannot be cashed out at all.

How to withdraw money from Betika to M-Pesa

  1. Log in on the app, Lite site or website.
  2. Open your account menu and choose Withdraw.
  3. Enter the amount. It must be your real cash balance, not bonus funds.
  4. Confirm. Betika sends the money to the M-Pesa number registered on the account.
  5. Wait for the M-Pesa SMS, then check that the sender is Betika.

Withdrawals to Airtel Money depend on what Betika currently supports; the payments field in the key facts box lists the methods we have confirmed. If a withdrawal is delayed, contact support with the time and amount, as described on our Betika customer care page.

Withdrawing a bonus: what is allowed

Bonus money usually cannot be withdrawn directly. It must be wagered according to the offer terms, after which any winnings move to your cash balance. Read the terms on our Betika bonus page before you rely on bonus funds.
