Elitebet does not appear to operate in Kenya any more. When we checked in October 2026, the former Kenyan Elitebet domain redirected to a domain-parking page, and the group's international site listed only Congo, DRC, Zambia and Namibia, not Kenya. Our advice is simple: do not register or deposit on any site that uses the Elitebet name for Kenyan players.

BetTips.co.ke is an independent guide to Kenyan bookmakers. We keep this page because people still search for Elitebet Kenya, Elitebet registration, the app and the paybill, and they deserve a straight answer. You must be 18+ to bet anywhere in Kenya.

What happened to Elitebet in Kenya

Elitebet launched its Kenyan sports betting service in January 2014, with M-Pesa deposits, at a time when online betting in Kenya was just taking off. In July 2019 it was among the 27 firms whose licences were not renewed by the Betting Control and Licensing Board during the tax dispute between the government and a group of operators. Many of those brands came back after court cases or settlements. We found no evidence that Elitebet did: there is no 2024-2026 coverage of Kenyan Elitebet operations, and Kenyan business press later described the brand as having faded away.

Elitebet app, paybill and registration searches

People still search for an Elitebet app download, an Elitebet paybill number, Elitebet withdrawal help and Elitebet registration in Kenya. Because there is no active Kenyan operator, there is no current app, paybill or sign-up process we can point you to. Treat any of the following as warning signs:

  • An APK file called Elitebet shared on WhatsApp or Telegram. It is not a verified app and could steal your M-Pesa or login details.
  • A paybill number posted online as "Elitebet". Money sent to an unknown business number cannot be recovered by a bookmaker that no longer serves Kenya.
  • A website using the Elitebet logo that accepts Kenyan sign-ups but shows no current Kenyan licence in the footer.

If you had money in an Elitebet account before 2019, keep any M-Pesa confirmations you still have. The Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA) has taken over from the BCLB under the Gambling Control Act 2025, and a complaint about a former licensee should go through official regulator channels, not through people on social media offering to "recover" funds for a fee.

Is Elitebet legit for Kenyan players today?

The brand still trades in other African countries, so Elitebet itself is a real company. For Kenyan players, though, legitimacy depends on a current Kenyan licence, and we found none. Our guide to licensed betting sites shows how to check a licence line on any bookmaker before you deposit.

Where to bet instead of EliteBet

If you were looking for an Elitebet-style sportsbook with M-Pesa, the bookmakers below were active in Kenya when we last checked. Check each one for a current licence line in the footer, then compare them on our full Kenyan betting sites list, where each review explains licensing, payments and apps.

Frequently asked questions

Is Elitebet still operating in Kenya?

We found no sign of Kenyan operations in 2024-2026. The former Kenyan domain is parked and the group site does not list Kenya.

Where can I download the Elitebet app?

There is no current Elitebet app for Kenya that we could verify. Do not install APK files shared under that name.

What is the Elitebet paybill number?

We do not publish one, because no active Kenyan Elitebet operation exists. Do not send money to paybills posted online under the Elitebet name.

Can I still withdraw an old Elitebet balance?

We found no active Kenyan operator to process withdrawals. Keep your old M-Pesa confirmations and raise the matter through official regulator channels, not through paid recovery agents.

Why was Elitebet's licence not renewed?

In July 2019 the BCLB did not renew the licences of 27 firms, Elitebet among them, during a tax dispute with several operators.
