Want to follow the steps on the operator site?

Go to OdiBets

The OdiBets paybill number is the business number published in the operator's own FAQ, and we show it in the key facts box below so you can copy it from one place. For the account number, the FAQ says you can type ODI or leave the field blank, because the deposit is matched to the phone number you pay from. If you prefer not to type numbers at all, the Deposit tab on the site sends an M-Pesa prompt straight to your phone.

Paying to the OdiBets paybill step by step

  1. Open the M-Pesa menu on your Safaricom line, or the M-Pesa app.
  2. Choose Lipa na M-Pesa, then Pay Bill.
  3. Enter the business number from the key facts box.
  4. Account number: type ODI or leave it empty, as the OdiBets FAQ allows.
  5. Enter the amount in KES, then your M-Pesa PIN.
  6. Check that the confirmation screen names OdiBets before you approve.

Pay from the same Safaricom number you registered with. A payment from another line will not find your account automatically and needs a support ticket to sort out.

Six steps of an M-Pesa Paybill deposit to a betting wallet
Paybill deposit in six steps. Always copy the business number from the operator's official deposit page.

The quicker route: deposit with a phone prompt

Log in, open Deposit, enter the amount and confirm. An STK push appears on your phone asking for your M-Pesa PIN. This avoids typos in the business number, which is the most common reason money goes astray. Keep the phone unlocked while you wait, because the prompt expires after a short time.

The FAQ sets a minimum withdrawal and a maximum payout per ticket, and normal M-Pesa charges apply. Read the current figures on the withdrawal screen, since limits change.

Why the amounts do not match

Two Kenyan taxes affect every OdiBets wallet. Excise duty is taken when you deposit, so a KES 100 deposit lands as slightly less. Withholding tax is taken from winnings before payout. Neither is a hidden fee; the bookmaker deducts both by law. Our guide to betting tax in Kenya explains how to check the current rates.

Other ways to fund OdiBets

We could only confirm M-Pesa on OdiBets' official pages. Searches for an "OdiBets Airtel paybill" usually lead to third-party lists that may be outdated. If you use Airtel, look at the deposit screen first. For bookmakers that accept a wider range of mobile money, see our list of M-Pesa betting sites.

Deposit missing? Work through this list

  • No M-Pesa SMS at all: the payment did not go through; nothing left your account.
  • M-Pesa SMS received but balance unchanged: wait a few minutes and refresh, as the operator side can lag.
  • Paid from a different number: contact support with the M-Pesa transaction code.
  • Wrong business number typed: the money went to another business; ask Safaricom about a reversal.

Never send your PIN to anyone who says they can "push" a deposit for you. Real OdiBets customer care only needs the transaction code. Betting is for 18+ only, and any deposit should be money you can afford to lose.

Frequently asked questions

What account number do I use for the OdiBets paybill?

The OdiBets FAQ says to type ODI in the account field or leave it blank. The deposit is matched to the Safaricom number you pay from.

Can I withdraw from OdiBets by SMS?

Yes. According to the FAQ you send W#Amount to the OdiBets shortcode from your registered number, and the money goes to that M-Pesa line.

Why did OdiBets credit less than I deposited?

Excise duty is deducted from deposits under Kenyan law. The bookmaker takes it automatically before crediting the wallet.

Is there an OdiBets paybill for Airtel Money?

We found no Airtel Money option on official OdiBets pages. Check the deposit screen in your account rather than numbers posted on other sites.
