Our tennis predictions cover the ATP and WTA tours: each day we pick the matches where form, surface and scheduling point clearly one way and the odds still offer value. You get the market, the price at publishing and the reasoning. Tennis is a two-player sport with no draw, which makes it simpler to analyse than football in some ways and more volatile in others.
Tennis predictions today
Picks for the next day usually appear the evening before, once the order of play is published. Times in the feed are in East Africa Time. Matches "followed by" another can start much later than scheduled, so check the live order of play before betting.
Factors behind every tennis pick
| Factor | Why it matters | What we check |
|---|---|---|
| Surface | Clay slows the ball, grass rewards big serves, hard courts sit in between | Each player's record on the current surface over the last 12 months |
| Serve and return numbers | Holding serve and breaking serve decide matches | Service games won and return games won, adjusted for opponents |
| Fatigue | Long matches earlier in the week cost energy | Time on court in recent rounds, travel between events |
| Injury signs | Medical time-outs and withdrawals often repeat | Recent retirements, strapping, player statements |
| Motivation | Some players treat small events as practice | Ranking points at stake, next tournament on the calendar |
| Price | Popular names are often overrated | Our estimate against the best available odds |
Tennis markets and when to use them
- Match winner. The simplest bet. Heavy favourites often come at very short odds, so value is limited.
- Set betting and set handicap. Useful when you expect a favourite to win but the match-winner price is too short. A -1.5 sets handicap in a best-of-three match means winning 2-0.
- Total games. Over or under a number of games. Two strong servers on grass point to more games and tie-breaks; a mismatch on clay can be quick.
- First set winner. Some players start slowly; others fade. Patterns here can be useful but carry more randomness.
Grand Slams and tour events in East Africa Time
Where a tournament is played decides when you will be betting in Kenya. The Australian Open runs through the Kenyan night and early morning. Roland Garros and Wimbledon fall in the Kenyan afternoon and evening. The US Open evening sessions finish in the early hours. At the four Grand Slams men play best of five sets, which favours the stronger player, while women and most tour events use best of three, where upsets come more often.
What about table tennis predictions?
Table tennis appears on many Kenyan bookmakers almost around the clock, mostly small events with little public data. Those markets are hard to analyse, and integrity bodies have flagged suspicious betting in some low-level events over the years. We do not publish routine table tennis picks for that reason. If you bet on it, keep stakes tiny and be wary of anyone selling "sure" table tennis tips.
Retirements and other tennis rules
Tennis has a quirk football bettors often miss: if a player retires injured during a match, bookmakers settle bets differently. Some void the match-winner bet unless a set is completed; others settle on the player who advances. Rules for set and game markets vary too. Read your bookmaker's tennis rules before betting, especially on players with a recent injury history.
Staking and placing tennis bets in Kenya
Tennis results swing on a few points, so use level stakes, for example one unit of 1-2% of your betting budget per pick. Avoid long tennis accumulators: a single retirement or tie-break loss ends the slip.
- Deposit to a licensed bookmaker with M-Pesa using the STK push or the paybill business number on its deposit page.
- Open Tennis, then the tournament (ATP, WTA, Challenger or ITF levels are listed separately).
- Choose the market and check the odds against the price in our feed.
- Enter your stake and review the payout after the operator's automatic tax deductions.
Tennis also suits in-play betting, because momentum swings are visible. If you like that, compare our list of live betting sites, but set a limit first. New to betting? Start with how to bet in Kenya.

Common tennis betting mistakes
- Backing famous names on their weakest surface.
- Ignoring fatigue after a long five-setter two days earlier.
- Betting low-level ITF matches with no data because the odds look tempting.
- Believing "tennis prediction guru" sellers who show only their winning slips.

Frequently asked questions
When are tennis predictions for tomorrow posted?
Usually the evening before, after the tournament publishes its order of play. Times can shift if earlier matches run long.
What happens to my bet if a tennis player retires?
It depends on the bookmaker. Some void the bet unless a full set was played, others settle it on whoever advances. Check the operator's tennis rules before betting.
Is tennis easier to predict than football?
It has no draw and individual form is easier to measure, but favourites are often priced very short, and injuries or retirements add risk. It is not easier to profit from.
Do you cover table tennis predictions?
Not routinely. Most table tennis events on betting sites have very little public data, and some have integrity concerns, so we do not publish regular picks for them.
