By There is no Betlion free bet, bonus or promo code available in Kenya now. Betlion's Kenyan platform stopped working after the 2023 sale to 888Africa, and in October 2026 its address led to a site that did not load, so no offer under the Betlion name can be claimed. Free bet posts that still circulate are either outdated or bait for scams.

Why Betlion bonus posts still appear
Betlion was popular enough that hundreds of blog posts were written about its free bets, bonuses and the Goliath Jackpot. Many of those pages were never updated after the brand went quiet. Search engines still show them, which is why "Betlion free bet" remains a common search. Treat any date before 2023 on such a page as a sign it is out of date.
Fake Betlion free bet scams
A closed brand with a familiar logo is ideal bait. Watch for:
- "Claim your Betlion free bet" messages on WhatsApp or SMS with a link.
- Requests to pay a small "activation fee" to unlock a bonus.
- Promo codes sold in Telegram groups.
- Requests for your M-Pesa PIN or a one-time code.
No genuine bookmaker charges you to receive a free bet. Delete such messages and block the sender.
Real bonuses at licensed bookmakers

| BetPawa | Win Bonus added to winning multibets; no classic sign-up bonus | Accumulator players |

What a real free bet looks like
A genuine free bet is credited to an account you opened yourself on a licensed site, appears in your bonus balance, and comes with written rules about the minimum odds and expiry. It never arrives as a link from a stranger. Usually the stake is not returned with the winnings, so a free bet is worth less than the same amount in cash.
Reading any bonus before you take it
- Is there a promo code on the operator's own promotions page, or none at all?
- What are the minimum odds and how many selections are needed?
- How long do you have to use the bonus?
- Can winnings from the bonus be withdrawn, and up to what limit?
Our betting bonuses hub covers these terms in depth. Bonuses are for adults 18+ only, and no bonus is worth stretching your budget for.
