By The Helabet app is promoted to Kenyan players, but because we could not confirm a Kenyan licence for Helabet, we do not recommend installing it or depositing. If you still choose to, take the APK only from Helabet's own site and never from a mirror or a WhatsApp link. This page explains what we found and offers licensed alternatives with apps.
The licence question comes before the app
An app is only as trustworthy as the company behind it. When we checked, Helabet's site showed no regulator, company name or licence number, and it was not on the list of operators approved for licensing in Kenya for 2025/2026. A betting app from an unverified operator means your money and personal data sit with a business you cannot easily hold to account. Our Helabet review lists every check we made.
Helabet APK on Android: if you go ahead
- Type the Helabet address yourself; do not follow links from ads or chats.
- Find the app link on the site itself, usually in the menu or footer.
- Expect a browser warning for the APK. It is generic, but take it as a reminder to check the source.
- Look at the permissions the app requests. A betting app has no reason to read your SMS or contacts.
- After installing, switch off "install unknown apps" for your browser.
Helabet on iPhone
Searches for a "Helabet app for iPhone" or "Helabet iOS app" are common. We did not confirm an App Store listing for the Kenyan version. Be wary of instructions asking you to install a configuration profile or a "beta" from an unknown source; that gives an outside party wide control over your phone. The same caution applies to the sign-up form, covered in our Helabet sign-up checks.
Risks of betting APKs from unverified operators
| Risk | What can happen |
|---|---|
| Modified APKs on mirror sites | Stolen logins, fake payment prompts |
| No confirmed licence | No regulator to complain to if a withdrawal is refused |
| Unclear data handling | Personal details stored outside Kenyan oversight |
| Predictor or "signal" add-ons | Scams that take money for fake predictions |
