By You can find a Linebet app download in many places, but we advise Kenyan players not to install it. Linebet has no Kenyan licence, no Kenyan website and no official Kenyan paybill that we could find, so the app would connect you to an offshore operator with no local regulator behind it. If you want a betting app on Android or iPhone, use one from a licensed Kenyan bookmaker; options are listed below. 18+ only.
Why the Linebet APK is a problem
Searches such as "download linebet apk" and "linebet app download for android" lead to APK files on promotional sites. Installing any betting APK means trusting the source with your login, ID details and M-Pesa activity. With an unlicensed operator, that trust has nothing behind it:
| Issue | Licensed Kenyan app | Linebet APK |
|---|---|---|
| Regulator for complaints | Yes, Kenyan regulator | None in Kenya |
| Official paybill in operator's name | Yes | None published |
| Source of the file | Operator's .co.ke site or app store | Promotional and mirror sites |
| Risk of modified copies | Low from official source | Hard to tell genuine from fake |
Fake "Linebet" files
Because the brand is popular in search, file sites and Telegram channels offer "Linebet app free download", "Linebet install" or "Linebet Lite" files. Some bundle an "Aviator predictor" or an "odds hack". Those extras are scams, and the APK itself can contain adware or a fake login page that collects your phone number and password. Bonus codes passed around the same channels are covered in our Linebet promo code review. On iPhone, any page asking you to install a configuration profile to get a betting app is a red flag.
If you already installed it
- Withdraw any balance through the method you used to deposit, and keep screenshots. Our Linebet registration warning covers closing the account.
- Uninstall the app and remove "install unknown apps" permission from the browser you used.
- If you used the same password elsewhere, change it there.
- Never type your M-Pesa PIN into any app; only on Safaricom's own prompt.

What to look for in any betting app
- The licence line in the app's footer or about screen matches the operator's website.
- Deposits go to a paybill registered in the bookmaker's name, shown on the M-Pesa confirmation.
- The download comes from the operator's own site or an official app store listing.
- Customer care is reachable through channels on the official contact page.
