No prediction is ever sure. Tips here are opinions built on form and statistics, so treat them as research, not a promise. 18+.

Our BTTS predictions today list the matches where we expect both teams to score, shown on most Kenyan betting sites as GG, and the occasional game where NG (no goal from at least one side) looks the better bet. You do not need to pick a winner: a 1-1, a 2-3 or a 4-1 all settle GG as a win. Below is today's GG prediction list, then the method behind it and the mistakes that cost punters most in this market.

Each line shows the fixture, the kick-off in EAT, whether the pick is GG or NG, the price we saw and a short reason. GG prices on Kenyan sites usually sit between about 1.55 and 2.10. Below 1.55 we rarely see enough value; above 2.10 the bookmaker is telling you it expects at least one clean sheet.

How both teams to score settles

  • GG (Yes) wins when each side scores at least once in normal time, including stoppage time.
  • NG (No) wins when one or both teams fail to score. A 0-0 and a 3-0 are both NG.
  • Own goals count for the team credited with the goal, which is the side that benefits.
  • Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded unless the market says otherwise.

Related combinations appear next to the basic market: GG and Over 2.5 (both score and three or more goals), Home win and GG, and first half GG. Each adds a condition and a bigger price, so the hit rate drops accordingly.

What makes a good GG prediction for today

A BTTS pick is a bet on two attacks and two defences at the same time. We look at both ends of the pitch for each side, and treat home and away numbers separately because many teams change shape on the road.

SignalLeans GGLeans NG
Scoring recordBoth sides score in most recent gamesOne side often fails to score, especially away
Conceding recordBoth defences concede regularlyOne side keeps frequent clean sheets

The final step is price. We estimate how likely GG is and compare it with the implied probability of the odds (1 divided by the price). At 1.80 the bookmaker implies about 56%; we need to believe in something clearly higher before the pick goes up. That discipline is why the list is shorter on some days.

Leagues where GG lands more often

Goal patterns vary by competition and season, so we avoid fixed rules. In general, leagues with open, attacking styles and weaker defences in the lower half of the table produce more BTTS outcomes than tight, tactical leagues. The Bundesliga and the Dutch Eredivisie have long reputations for open games; Kenyan Premier League matches, on heavy pitches and with fewer clear chances, often lean the other way. Read our Bundesliga predictions and KPL tips for league-specific notes.

Staking GG picks in KES

GG prices are close to even money, so a flat stake of one unit per pick suits this market. If your monthly betting money is KES 3,000, a unit of KES 30 to KES 60 keeps a losing week painless. Combining four GG picks into a multibet multiplies the odds to around 10.00, but it also means a single 1-0 ruins the slip. If you do combine them, cut the stake to a quarter unit.

Placing a both teams to score bet

  1. Top up through M-Pesa (STK prompt, or the paybill menu with the business number, phone number as account) or Airtel Money where accepted.
  2. Open the match and look for "Both Teams to Score", "GG/NG" or "BTTS" in the market list.
  3. Choose Yes (GG) or No (NG). Do not confuse it with "GG and Over 2.5", which is a separate line.
  4. Check the price, enter the stake and confirm. Note that winnings are paid out net of withholding tax.

Pitfalls in the GG market

  • The late goal trap. Many GG bets die at 1-0. Do not chase it with live bets at shrinking prices.
  • Trusting one big name. A strong attack against a weak defence can still finish 3-0.
  • Ignoring cup fixtures. Rotation before European nights changes both attack and defence.
  • Believing "accurate BTTS tips" claims. Accuracy can only be judged over hundreds of picks, and no list is right every day.

Goals markets work well alongside our over 2.5 goals tips and the correct score predictions, which use the same scoring data. Betting is for adults aged 18+; keep stakes inside your budget.

Frequently asked questions

What does GG mean in betting?

GG stands for goal goal, the Kenyan label for both teams to score. It wins if each team scores at least one goal in normal time, whatever the final result.

Does a 0-0 draw win a GG bet?

No. A goalless draw settles as NG because neither team scored. A 1-1 draw, on the other hand, wins GG.

Is GG and Over 2.5 the same as GG?

No. GG and Over 2.5 needs both teams to score and at least three goals in total, so a 1-1 loses it while a plain GG bet wins.

Why do you sometimes pick NG?

When one attack is weak or a defence is strong and the NG price is fair, the no side can be the better bet. We follow the numbers, not a preference for goals.

How many GG picks should I combine?

Most punters do better with singles or doubles. Every extra GG leg adds another chance of a clean sheet ruining the slip.
