Gates of Olympus Game Review: Zeus and the Multipliers

The Gates of Olympus game is a Pragmatic Play slot in which Zeus throws random multipliers onto a pay anywhere grid; wins tumble away, new symbols fall in, and every multiplier on screen is added up and applied when the sequence ends. In free spins those multipliers accumulate across the whole round, which is where the game's biggest results come from. It is one of the most played slots in Kenyan casino lobbies.

How a tumble sequence pays

After a spin, every symbol that appears eight or more times anywhere on the grid pays. Winning symbols vanish, the rest drop down and new ones fill the gaps. If a new win forms, it pays too. Multiplier orbs can land at any point; when the tumbles stop, their values are added together and multiply the total win of that sequence. A multiplier orb landing on a spin with no win does nothing.

Free spins and the growing multiplier

Four or more scatters trigger free spins. During the round, each time a multiplier orb contributes to a win, its value is added to a total multiplier that applies to later wins in the same round. A strong early multiplier can make the rest of the round very valuable; an empty start can make the whole feature pay little. Extra scatters during free spins add more spins.

Ante bet and buying the feature

The ante bet raises the stake per spin to increase the chance of free spins. Some versions also let you buy the feature for a large multiple of the stake. Both make the game more volatile, not more profitable. Bonus buy is switched off at some casinos.

Gates of Olympus strategy: separating myth from maths

  • Myth: the game "warms up" after many dead spins. Each spin is independent.
  • Myth: lower stakes trigger bonuses more often. The trigger chance does not depend on stake size.
  • Useful: size your stake so the session budget covers 150 to 200 spins.
  • Useful: set a stop point after a bonus, so one good feature is not handed back spin by spin.

Gates of Olympus demo

A demo is available from Pragmatic Play and at many casinos. Play a few hundred spins with virtual credit and you will see how the game alternates long quiet spells with occasional multiplier bursts. The 1000 edition, where offered, works on the same idea with bigger multiplier potential; read its own rules if you switch.

Where to play in Kenya

Most bookmakers that carry Pragmatic Play slots list Gates of Olympus. The same provider's fishing slot has its own Big Bass Bonanza review. Search the lobby, check the RTP in the game info, and compare operator terms on the real money casino page. Free spins promotions on this slot appear from time to time; see our bonuses page and read the wagering terms.
