22Bet Kenya is the Kenyan site of the international 22 Bet brand, run by Nuntis Holdings Limited, which states on 22bet.co.ke that it holds a bookmaker licence and a gaming licence from the Betting Control and Licensing Board. So yes, 22bet in Kenya is a licensed option, and the official site is reached through the button below. This 22bet review covers what makes it different from local brands such as Betika or Mozzart: a much wider betting menu, a cashier that uses your 22Bet account ID for M-Pesa, and a bonus with more conditions.
BetTips.co.ke is an independent betting information site, not 22Bet. We built this review from the operator's public pages, its own payment guide, its App Store listing and Kenyan press, as of October 2026. We did not open or fund an account. Betting is for adults only, 18+.

Is 22Bet legit in Kenya?
The footer of 22bet.co.ke states that Nuntis Holdings Limited is licensed by the BCLB under the Betting, Lotteries and Gaming Act to operate as a bookmaker and to organise games. Our facts box carries the licence line once confirmed. Compare them with the footer whenever you visit; the regulator's role is moving to the new Gambling Regulatory Authority under the 2025 Act, so licence lines may be updated.
22Bet was not on the list of illegal betting sites that the BCLB ordered shut in April 2025, and we found no suspension in 2024-2026 coverage. One point matters for Kenyan players: the licence covers the .co.ke site. The global 22Bet domains and mirror sites run under other licences, take other payment methods and are not where Kenyan players should hold money. Our licensed betting sites page explains why the domain matters.
The 22 Bet sportsbook
This is 22Bet's strongest point. The football coupon goes far beyond 1X2 and both teams to score: Asian handicaps, corners, cards, player specials, half markets and long lists of correct score options (the "22bet correct score" searches). It also covers basketball, tennis, table tennis, esports and many niche sports. If you bet on lower European leagues, which often appear on jackpot cards, the depth helps.
The flip side is a crowded screen. A Kenyan punter used to a simple coupon can easily pick the wrong market, for example a first-half line instead of full time. Read the market name on the betslip before confirming. Kick-off times show in your local time when the site detects Kenya; check that EPL Saturday games sit at their usual East Africa Time slots.
Live betting and the betslip
The 22Bet live section lists in-play matches with fast-moving odds and, for many games, a match tracker. The betslip accepts singles, multiples and system bets. A system bet spreads your stake over combinations, which reduces the damage from one wrong pick but also lowers the payout; our bet slip guide explains the maths in KES terms.
Deposits and withdrawals: the account ID detail
22Bet works with M-Pesa like every Kenyan bookmaker, but with one difference that trips people up. When you pay by paybill, the account number is not your phone number. 22Bet's own deposit guide says to enter the 22Bet account number shown in the cashier. The business number is in the facts box, and 22Bet says it changed in December 2023, so any older guide quoting a different paybill is out of date.
- Log in and copy your account number from the cashier or profile.
- M-Pesa, Lipa na M-Pesa, Pay Bill, enter the 22Bet business number.
- Account number: your 22Bet account ID.
- Amount, PIN, confirm, then refresh your balance.
Withdrawals go back to M-Pesa from the cashier. Kenyan excise duty is taken at deposit and withholding tax on winnings, both deducted automatically; check the current note on the cashier screens and our betting tax guide. Full steps and fixes are on the 22Bet paybill page.
22Bet welcome bonus and free spins
The 22Bet welcome bonus is a first deposit match for sports, with the current cap shown in the facts box when confirmed. The 22Bet guide also mentions a qualifying minimum deposit, and the casino side advertises its own offers including free spins. International sportsbooks attach real conditions to these: wagering in accumulators, minimum odds per selection and a short deadline. Read them before you deposit. Our 22Bet promo code page breaks down the terms.
22Bet app and mobile site
The iOS app "22 Bet: Sports Betting Kenya" is listed on the Kenyan App Store, rated 18+ and published under Nuntis Holdings. An Android app exists too; we could not confirm whether the current route is Google Play or an APK from the site, so start from the official site's app page. The mobile site works in any browser if you prefer not to install anything. See the 22Bet app page for steps and APK safety checks.
Casino, live casino and other games
The 22Bet casino is large, with slots from many providers, table games and live dealer studios. We could not verify on the Kenyan site whether Aviator, virtual sports or a jackpot product are currently offered, so check the games menu before you deposit for them. Details and spending advice are on 22Bet casino, and the crash game itself is covered on our 22Bet Aviator page.
Registration and verification
Sign-up asks for a phone number or email, currency (KES) and a password, followed by profile details. Fill in your real name and date of birth as on your ID, because withdrawals can trigger a verification check. The 22Bet registration page walks through it.
22Bet customer care
22Bet lists a Kenyan phone line and a support email on its site, alongside live chat on the international platform. Use the contacts as listed on the operator's contact page. Ignore Telegram and WhatsApp "agents"; 22Bet support will never ask for your M-Pesa PIN.
Pros and cons of 22Bet
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Kenyan BCLB licences named on the site | Busy interface for beginners |

Who 22Bet suits
22Bet fits experienced punters who want market depth: handicaps, specials and long correct score menus. Casual jackpot players will probably feel more at home with SportPesa, Betika or Mozzart. Whatever you choose, set a deposit limit first and stop if betting stops being fun; BCLB's responsible gambling resources and our responsible gambling page can help.
